Case Type: Cryptocurrency & Investment Investigation
Case ID: CASE-2026-002
Investigation Status: Open
Published: August 2026
Investigated By: Cyb3rsect
Executive Summary
Cyb3rsect.com has opened an investigation into Vigora Partners and Platform.VigoraPartners.com following multiple consumer complaints publicly recorded by the Better Business Bureau’s Scam Tracker in July 2026.
The complaints describe alleged cryptocurrency investment solicitations originating through social media, requests for initial deposits, subsequent requests for additional funds, apparent trading profits displayed through the platform, and difficulties obtaining refunds or withdrawing funds.
One BBB complaint reported an alleged loss of C$20,700. A separate complaint reported an alleged loss of C$15,000. Another July complaint described an initial $250 investment followed by requests for additional money and alleged difficulties closing the account and receiving a refund.
These are consumer allegations and do not constitute a court finding that Vigora Partners or any individual associated with it committed fraud.
However, the number and similarity of the complaints warrant further investigation.
Investigation Status: OPEN
1. Subject of Investigation
The primary subject of this case is:
Vigora Partners
Related web properties identified in public complaint records include:
Platform.vigorapartners.com
and
vigorapartners.com
The BBB Scam Tracker specifically lists Platform.vigorapartners.com in a July 7, 2026 complaint concerning an alleged investment scheme.
A separate BBB complaint dated July 2, 2026 lists vigorapartners.com in connection with Vigora Partners.
Because similarly named domains can be operated by different parties, Cyb3rsect does not assume that every domain containing the Vigora Partners name is controlled by the same entity without supporting evidence.
2. Why This Investigation Was Opened
The investigation was opened after multiple consumer complaints described similar alleged patterns involving Vigora Partners.
The reports include:
- Initial contact through Facebook or online advertising
- An initial investment of approximately $250
- Requests for additional deposits
- Trading activity that appeared to generate profits
- Attempts to obtain refunds or withdraw funds
- Additional requests for money
- Alleged difficulty recovering deposited funds
The recurrence of similar allegations across multiple complaints is a significant reason for further investigation.
3. BBB Complaint — July 7, 2026
A BBB Scam Tracker complaint dated July 7, 2026 identifies:
Business Name: Vigora Partners
Website: Platform.vigorapartners.com
Scam Type: Investment
Reported Loss: $20,700
Location: Windsor, Ontario, Canada
According to the complainant, they clicked a Facebook link offering to teach users how to earn money using cryptocurrency.
The complainant reported being asked for an initial $250 USD, followed by requests for additional deposits to make trades.
According to the complaint, the trading activity appeared to show profits.
The complainant later questioned the activity and requested a refund. The complaint alleges that additional requests for money followed and that the representative became frustrated when the complainant requested their money back.
The complainant reported an alleged loss of C$20,700.
These statements represent the complainant’s account and have not been independently established as fact.
4. BBB Complaint — July 23, 2026
A BBB Scam Tracker search also identifies a complaint dated July 23, 2026 involving Vigora Partners.
The complaint describes an alleged C$15,000 loss.
According to the published complaint, the individual was contacted after interacting with an online cryptocurrency-related offer. The complainant reported being asked to provide funds for trading and later said the account was blocked after they attempted to recover their money.
This is a separate consumer report from the July 7 complaint.
The presence of multiple complaints does not independently prove wrongdoing, but the similarity of the reported circumstances is relevant to our investigation.
5. BBB Complaint — July 9, 2026
Another BBB Scam Tracker complaint dated July 9, 2026 identifies Vigora Partners.
The complainant reported an initial $250 investment and said they subsequently contacted a representative about the investment.
According to the complaint, the representative requested additional money.
The complainant said they requested that the account be closed and their original money returned.
The complaint further alleges that subsequent communications described urgent action and continued attempts to obtain payment.
The reported loss recorded by BBB was $250.
6. Additional Complaint — July 2, 2026
A further BBB Scam Tracker complaint dated July 2, 2026 identifies Vigora Partners and lists:
Website: vigorapartners.com
Reported Loss: $365
Scam Type: Investment
The complainant alleged that representatives used different names and described difficulties obtaining a refund.
The complaint also alleges aggressive communications after the complainant attempted to withdraw from the arrangement.
These allegations remain unverified.
7. Reported Recruitment Method
The available BBB complaints indicate that social media played a role in at least some of the reported approaches.
One complaint specifically states that the complainant clicked a Facebook link offering cryptocurrency education before being contacted by a Vigora Partners representative.
This is relevant because fraudulent investment operations frequently use social-media advertising and direct messaging to reach prospective investors.
However, the presence of social-media advertising alone does not establish that an investment operation is fraudulent.
8. Reported Payment Pattern
The complaints reviewed for this case describe a recurring alleged sequence:
Online advertisement / social-media contact
↓
Initial deposit
↓
Additional deposit requests
↓
Apparent trading profits
↓
Request for refund or withdrawal
↓
Further payment requests or alleged withdrawal problems
This reported pattern is one of the principal reasons the investigation remains open.
9. Domain and Security Intelligence
Independent automated reputation reporting reviewed during this investigation has also identified concerns surrounding vigorapartners.com.
Gridinsoft currently describes the domain as suspicious and reports that it was registered in May 2026, with limited independent reputation history. The service also reports one security-provider warning while noting that other providers listed on its page did not show the same warning.
Automated reputation scores are not proof of fraud and should never be treated as equivalent to a law-enforcement or regulatory determination.
They are therefore recorded here only as supplementary intelligence.
10. Conflicting Public Information
Our research also identified websites and publications presenting Vigora Partners as an investment or strategic-intelligence organization.
For example, a June 2026 article describes Vigora Partners as an organization providing investment insights and strategic intelligence.
A LinkedIn job listing found during research describes Vigora Partners as a cryptocurrency investment company focused on digital assets, blockchain investing and long-term financial growth.
These claims have not been treated as proof of legitimacy.
A professional-looking website, employment listing, publication or social-media presence does not by itself establish regulatory authorization or the safety of an investment platform.
11. What We Have Verified
At the time of publication, our research establishes that:
- Multiple BBB Scam Tracker complaints concerning Vigora Partners were published in July 2026.
- One complaint specifically identifies Platform.vigorapartners.com.
- Another complaint identifies vigorapartners.com.
- The complaints describe cryptocurrency or investment-related solicitation.
- Multiple complainants reported requests for additional funds.
- Multiple complainants described difficulties obtaining refunds or recovering funds.
- Reported losses in the complaints include C$20,700, C$15,000, $365 and $250.
The reported losses are claims made by individual complainants, not independently verified financial losses established by our firm.
12. What Remains Unverified
The following questions require additional evidence:
- The legal entity operating Platform.vigorapartners.com.
- The identity of all individuals communicating with prospective investors.
- Whether the displayed trading profits represented actual assets.
- Where deposited funds were ultimately transferred.
- Whether cryptocurrency wallets were used and, if so, which wallets.
- The regulatory status of the entity operating the platform.
- The ownership relationship between vigorapartners.com and Platform.vigorapartners.com.
- Whether all individuals named in complaints are connected to the same operation.
- The total number of affected customers.
- The total amount allegedly lost by all complainants.
These matters remain under investigation.
13. Blockchain Investigation
If affected individuals provide transaction hashes or cryptocurrency wallet addresses, investigators may be able to examine the public blockchain record.
Potential analysis may include:
- Transaction timestamps
- Sending addresses
- Receiving addresses
- Transaction amounts
- Wallet relationships
- Subsequent transfers
- Exchange interactions where identifiable
Blockchain analysis alone does not prove who controls an address.
Attribution requires additional evidence connecting blockchain activity to a person, company, exchange or other identifiable entity.
14. Investor Warning Signs
Based on the complaints reviewed, prospective investors should be particularly cautious if an investment platform:
- Approaches them through unsolicited social-media advertising.
- Requests an initial deposit before providing independently verifiable information.
- Continues requesting additional deposits.
- Displays profits that cannot be independently confirmed.
- Makes withdrawal conditions unclear.
- Requests additional money after a withdrawal request.
- Uses pressure or urgency to encourage payment.
- Cannot clearly identify the legal entity operating the platform.
- Makes regulatory claims that cannot be independently verified.
These characteristics do not independently prove fraud.
They are warning indicators that justify additional due diligence.
15. Investigator’s Assessment
The available evidence justifies continued investigation into Vigora Partners and Platform.vigorapartners.com.
The most significant concern is the presence of multiple consumer complaints within a short period describing similar alleged investment and withdrawal experiences.
The complaints include reported losses ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars, including one reported loss of C$20,700.
At this stage, Cyb3rsect does not characterize these allegations as a judicial finding of fraud.
Instead, we classify the case as:
INVESTIGATION STATUS: OPEN
EVIDENCE STATUS: MULTIPLE PUBLIC COMPLAINTS / ADDITIONAL VERIFICATION REQUIRED
